Our Story

Founded by Mr. Neeraj Sharma, a visionary with over three decades of experience in IT and other industries, Shop4Specials is dedicated to empowering visually impaired individuals and persons with low vision. Specializing in high-quality Braille and low-vision assistive technology, the company offers cutting-edge solutions customized to the unique needs of the visually impaired community.

The journey began with a mission to provide superior-quality Braille paper compliant with health and safety standards, in collaboration with a Paper Mill. This resulted in the creation of Braille Paper, known for being lead-free, acid-free, dust-free, and eco-friendly, meeting government gazette specifications. These innovations significantly enhanced the efficiency of Braille embossing machines while reducing maintenance and costs, making it the preferred choice for institutions across India.

In 2017, recognizing the limited awareness of Braille and low-vision products, Shop4Specials expanded its mission to promote Braille literacy and alternative solutions. As a Startup India entity, it became the authorized partner and sole distributor of HumanWare, a global leader in premium Braille and low-vision products. Through this partnership, Shop4Specials introduced advanced assistive technologies tailored to Indian regional languages, further broadening accessibility.
